First, I look forward to meeting you. There are several ways we can go about this:
However, I must ask you to step out when the time comes for scheduled activities.
If you are stopping by for course business, you will get priority. If you have other things to discuss with me, we can do that, but a student with course business will pre-empt our conversation.
This sounds great in theory, but we must agree upon a time. Most students approach that problem by emailing me and just asking me to meet. The next email likely contains just one suggested time for our meeting.
You will save us both a lot of time if, in your very first email asking to meet, include the times you are free over the next 4 week days.I promise to respond quickly.
If we agree to meet at a particular time and you do not show, you have incurred one strike, and I have a three-strike limit. After the third strike, I will not be willing to make another appointment to see you.
If you cannot make our agreed upon time, kindly let me know in advance.
