• 2011-02-17 Mark your calendars... my dissertation defense is scheduled for four months from today: June 17, 2011 at 2:00 PM in Bryan 509C.
• 2011-02-15 I will be attending i3D 2011 later this week in San Francisco. I will be presenting a poster on my work, "Image-space Constraints for Controlling Camera Interpolation."
• 2010-08-31 I will be giving the annual homecoming lecture for the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at The University of the South in Sewanee, TN on November 12, 2010.
• 2010-08-20 Tom and I are co-instructing a new seminar course on "Computer Science Pedagogy" this fall.
• 2010-06-03 I will be attending SIGGRAPH 2010 in Los Angeles, CA, July 25-29.
• 2010-06-03 Our paper, "VolumeViewer: A Tool for Examining the Use of Non-Axial Image Planes in Treatment Planning", has been accepted to the XVIth ICCR conference, which will be held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, from May 31-June 3, 2010.
• 2010-02-01 I will be speaking at the Doctoral Student Seminar on April 23.
• 2010-01-07 Two of our papers, "Experiences with Active Learning in CS 3" and "The Active-Learning Transformation: A Case Study in Software Development and Systems Software Courses", have been accepted to CCSC: Central Plains 2010, and I will present them at the conference at Park University in Parkville, MO, April 9-10.
• 2010-01-05 I am teaching two sections of "Introduction to Computing Tools: MATLAB Skills" this spring.
