May 2, 2006: Second Notificaiton of Acceptance (if space available)
May 15, 2006: Deposit and Registration due for Second Notification

Deposit Information: The National Science Foundation is covering workshop expenses for all participants. Therefore, there is no charge to teachers for this workshop.

NSF will pay only for conference registrants who actually attend the workshop. However, we must guarantee payment to the conference facility for each registrant, regardless of whether or not they attend. Therefore, we are requiring a $400 refundable deposit to cover our expenses in case a registered participant fails to attend the workshop.

If you attend the workshop (July 17-19, 2006), your deposit will be refunded in full.

If you pay your deposit and later determine that you cannot attend the workshop, you should notify us immediately. We will attempt to find another participant to take your place. If another qualified teacher (from our waiting list) can take your place, then your deposit will be refunded. However, if the space is not filled, your deposit will be retained to cover our expenses.
