Guidelines for Authors
As in the past, the proceedings will be published by ACM.
Full papers may be at most 10 pages long, short papers at most 5 pages long, while research abstracts are limited to two pages.
The final version of your paper must be submitted in "camera-ready" form. Since an electronic version of the conference proceedings will be published on the World Wide Web, you are required to submit the camera-ready copy electronically, by email to the Program Chair, Henry Prakken, by April 13.
This copy must be submitted using either LaTeX or Microsoft Word format, conforming to one of the ACM proceedings templates for LaTeX or Word. These templates are located at http://www.acm.org/sigs/pubs/proceed/template.html. NB: contrary to what the LaTeX templates suggest, you do not need to provide Categories and Subject Descriptors, General Terms and Keywords.
If your final version is in LaTeX, you must send the LaTeX source file, i.e. the .tex file. Please make sure to send all the necessary files with it, such as .eps files for pictures and .bbl files if your file was created using BiBTeX (do not send us .bib files!). You could also include the BiBTeX output directly in your article.
Please note: It is of particular importance that you leave sufficient space in the lower left corner of the first column on the first page for ACM to fill in the copyright information. The available LaTeX style files provide the means to leave this space or add the copyright information automatically.
Paper size: ACM proceedings use a two-column format for printing on 8 1/2" x 11" paper (as usual in the USA). The A4 paper size (usual in e.g. Europe) is different and must therefore not be used. Please make sure to use the 8 1/2" x 11" paper size required by ACM!
Please do not put page numbers on your paper (unless asked)!
The first author of each paper must complete and sign the ACM Copyright form, which has been emailed to you, and which can also be found at http://www.acm.org/pubs/copyright_form.html. The signed form must be sent either by ordinary mail or by fax so that it arrives by April 13, to
